Say goodbye to ‘Eli Stone,’ ‘Dirty Sexy Money’
St. Louis Post-Dispatch
Nothing confirmed by ABC, but the Hollywood trade papers are widely reporting that ABC will drop “Eli Stone” and “Dirty Sexy Money” after the 13 episodes ordered this season run out. And it hurts me to report that “Pushing Daisies” is all-but-officially dead. Kristin dos Santos over at eonline.com reports that she talked to creator Bryan Fuller, who acknowledged getting the bad news from ABC. Read what Fuller had to say.

Pushing Daisies is one of the smartest shows on TV. The fact that it is being cancelled just proves that this country is half full of morons.
What’s really sad about cancelling “Pushing Daisies” is that we lose that
marvelous imagery, with the set/scene design and color palette. It’s
just delightful to look at, no matter what the story (but having such
an imaginative story line is a plus).
I wondern if more people had HDTV if it would have had a larger
audience and thus higher ratings? I just have a smaller over-the-air
digital HDTV, and I find myself gazing at some scenes in PD in wonder.
I wish that I could record the digital signal so that I could see some
of the all-too-brief images over and over.
