‘Seinfeld’ bus (minus Seinfeld) at Webster U. Thursday
The Seinfeld Campus Tour, described as “a pioneering 30-city, 15,000 mile cross-country tour designed to integrate the show directly into the digital, on-the-move, multi-tasking lifestyle of college students and members of the 70 million plus millennial demographic,” is rolling into St. Louis Thursday for a stop at Webster University.
“The 60-foot-long ‘Seinfeld’-branded, bio-diesel-fueled bus features a mini-museum of original Seinfeld props and costumes, Seinfeld foods (Junior Mints, anyone?), behind-the-scenes memorabilia, laptops to explore ‘Seinfeld’ online, Kramer’s non-fat frozen yogurt counter, a Monk’s-style “Scene It?” lounge and more. Outside the bus, ‘Seinfeld’ fans — both longtime and new — can play classic carnival games with a Seinfeld twist, including a ‘Marine Biologist Hole-in-One’ putting game and a Frisbee game called ‘Monk’s Diner Plate Toss.’”
DoSomething.org will collect canned food as part of the national “Do Something with Seinfeld” campaign and deliver it to a local food bank.
The event from noon-4 p.m. is free and open to all. No specifics about where at Webster U. the bus will park; maybe at 60 feet long, it will be hard to miss.
