Bryton McClure plays Devon Hamilton on

Get ready for your closeup, would-be soap stars. CBS’ “The Young and the Restless” is having an open casting call here on Friday, Nov. 14, to choose “one talented St. Louis actress who will travel to Hollywood and appear in an episode” of the long-running daytime drama. Actor Bryton McClure (Devon) will also participate in the casting process.

Here are the particulars:

The screen test, which is open to women between 18 and 35 years old, will be held at the Ritz-Carlton, 100 Carondelet Plaza, St. Louis, MO 63105.

First round open call interviews for eligible actresses will be held on Friday, November 14, from 9:00 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.  Those wishing to audition should bring a completed copy of the registration form, a signed release (both available online) and a recent photograph. Callbacks will be held on Saturday, November 15 for participants advancing to the second round of auditions and, for finalists, an on-camera test with actor Bryton McClure.
