I couldn’t believe there wouldn’t be a third season of “Flipping Out,” the crazy reality series following house-flipper Jeff Lewis and his colorful team, but Bravo hadn’t made it official until Monday. Also renewed: “Million Dollar Listing” (about very young guys who sell high-end real estate in Los Angeles); “Tabatha’s Salon Takeover” (Tabatha Coffey of “Shear Genius” makes over salons); and “The Rachel Zoe Project” (following a stylist to the starlets). “Bringing these compelling personalities back was a no-brainer,” Bravo boss Frances Berwick said. No word on when the new seasons might arrive.

The “Flipping out” guy is an uber-tool: abusive/arrogant/narcissistic…oh wait a sec…this is what most “reality” shows offer us…presenting horrid behavior as if it’s something to be celebrated and semi-legtimized by turning these damaged people into pseudo-celebrities.

Puh-thetic.

I absolutely LOVE Jeff Lewis. He is a very talented home remodeler. Watching him walk through a house and envision the end result is genius. Partnering with Ryan as the decorator is great. I do think, though, that he needs a real assistant and not someone who really wants to be doing something else. She’s fun to watch but not very efficient. Firing her loser husband, and in the way he did it, was fantastic. Big ups for Bravo for bringing the interesting shows. (P.S. what a poor business decision to lose Project Runway)
