I did it: a week without ‘Heroes’
St. Louis Post-Dispatch
Last night I needed to watch the “Boston Legal” series finale for a story I’m writing. That was 8-10 p.m. I also record “Prison Break” and “Heroes” at 8 p.m. One had to go — and at this point, it wasn’t going to be “Prison Break.” So I did it; I told the DVR to delete “Heroes.” I still have the potential to watch it, but I’m going to have to be persuaded that it was the best recent episode of the season. It was, wasn’t it? A “Heroes” unseen is always SO much better than a “Heroes” seen.

I liked it. Of course, I also am not the typical viewer. I also have more incentive to stick with it since the announcement that Jay Leno is going to be going to prime time since I’m running out of scripted shows to even try anymore.
I didn’t watch it, I watched Boston Legal too. I’ll watch it this evening when I get home. Maybe.
I liked it myself. I will say without giving away anything that something very cool happened to one of the characters. But, it remains to be seen if it’s real. Over all I liked it more than any of the other episodes this season. I think they might be correcting the misteps. I will add though that some of it still needs attention. And how can you give up Hereos which for Prison Break? I watch both but I tape PB so I can fast foward through most of the really stupid stuff. It has to be the most inane show I’ve ever seen and I have to keep watching it just to see how stupid it can become.
It’s still sitting on my DVR. Glad to hear it was okay, I won’t delete it. This is actually the first time in a long time I wasn’t excited about watching it, although I think the last three episodes have been better.
I honestly thought it was the best episode of the season. I didn’t feel like it dragged at all, and it totally kept my attention.
FWIW, I used to be a huge PB fan. But this season, I just let it fall by the wayside. Eh, I can rent the dvds once the season is over.
I will admit that Heroes has not been my favorite this season, but this episode was pretty good, definately worth watching. I think because for the most part it focuses on the Bennets and the Nakumuras back in time, so we don’t get a lot of those annoying characters who nobody cares about (I cannot stand Tracy or even Nathan Petrelli anymore…)
