You’ve followed “Lost” for four seasons. You’re more hooked than ever. But you still have questions. Don’t we all have questions? It’s been so long, I can hardly even remember mine, but I’ll bet you can remember yours. Please share.

This Wednesday (Jan. 14): Three back-to-back-to-back episodes of “Lost,” refreshing us on how Season 4 ended. These are all three parts of the season finale, “There’s No Place Like Home.”

Sunday (Jan. 18): My “Lost” season preview in A&E.

Next Wednesday (Jan. 21): First, a clip show recapping all four seasons. Then, the season premiere, in two parts: “Because You Left” and “The Lie.”

I want to know more about the island and its properties, less about freaking Jack. It’s also getting a little Ben-heavy now, and as much as my husband wishes Ben were on the screen even more, I think he needs to either go back to being a bad guy or at least leave some more screen time for Locke.

In a way, I don’t want to know why Locke died because I’m sure it’s going to piss me off.

Is Jin actually dead? I mean, generally in any fictional world, a character isn’t dead until he/she is seen dead and buried (even then it’s not for certain). Why are the “freighter people” there? We had a whole season with them and lots of hints, but why are they actually there? On that note, the only new character I actually like (and I like him a lot) is Daniel. More Daniel would make me happy. Speaking of Daniel, how does the time vortex around the island work? Why is it there? Is it manmade or natural? Is the island always an island (or does it sometimes end up in the desert?)?

I absolutely believe its Atlantis, and even if they don’t say it’s Atlantis, or even if it goes by another name, I’m still going to continue to believe it’s Atlantis.

Everything SuperGeekGirl wants to know, plus:

Where did the island end up?

Why was Libby in the mental institution with Hurley?

The usual questions about the smoke monster, the numbers, who the OTHER others are, etc., etc., AND:

When they get back to the island, will Hurley and Jack carry Locke around like “Weekend at Bernies?”

I want to see some of the long-time questions answered, like:

How did Jack’s Dad die?
What did Desmond do to end up in a military jail?
What’s with the giant statue with four toes?
What did the Others do with/to Walt during his captivity?
Who are the Others and why did they conspire with Ben to bump off the Dharma Initiative?
Why did Ben ask Richard if he “remembers birthdays,” and why doesn’t he appear to age?

What about the numbers?!?!? I had given up hope that they would be woven into the mythology, but then Hurley’s car had those numbers show up again.

Everyone seems to forget about this one. I’m still stuck on why Aaron is so special that he ”cannot be raised by another.” And does this mean issues will arise now that Kate is raising him?

Where, or When, did the island go? Hmmmm. Maybe the “Others” are actually descendents of the Oceanic passengers.

I’ve seen some critic’s blogs on the net that say they’ve seen the first two new episodes. They gave out a little information, but no spoilers. Were you one of the lucky ones, Gail?

Yes, I’ve seen them, and here are three things I can tell you:
* Five minutes into the first, I said, “Holy s***!”
* Hurley spends a chunk of the second wearing an “I (Heart) My Shih-Tzu” T-shirt.
* They are great, great episodes. Very satisfying.

Although my favorite theory is still that they are all really dead and in purgatory. I believe the writer’s shot that idea down.(although would they really tell you if you were right and blow the surprise).
My new theory after last season is the island is actually a huge alien space ship that crashed in the ocean and had an eco-system grow on top of it. I had not heard the Atlantis theory yet, thats a cool idea. suppose it could be both, Atlantis really was the space ship, and when it “disappeared” it just moved to the south pacific location.

I believe the creators when they say that the show won’t pull some cheap stunt at the end and declare that all of this happened in a snow globe on someone’s desk in Manhattan in the year 2250.
And I used to have tons of questions, now I just accept what I cannot understand and enjoy the ride. My first question used to be, what the heck happened to all the polar bears. You telling me that the island only had two.
And then one day, I let that go and I’m much happier for it.
And I soooooo don’t agree with that too much Jack comment, I-heart-Matthew Fox. He’s yummy even when he’s filled with angst, which is … um… always.

I agree with Deb’s post…I used to have so many questions but I’m just along to enjoy the ride now. We are in the process of watching every episode before the beginning of the new season, and are cramming Season 4 this week, with their airings on SciFi. We just finished the episode, “The Constant,” - which is the fourth time we’ve seen that particular episode - and the wife and I still end up with tears. Easily THE best episode of the series - so far. Gail, I’m glad to see we have two very good episodes to look forward to.

Now, if only we can get some BSG love on this blog ;)

How can Kate still be soooo stupid?
How will Jeremy Bentham return to life/get back to the island?
Who is the next leader of the Others since Locke is gone?
Why not have Charlie come back to life if other people can?
