Charter customers get PBS, not ‘30 Rock’
St. Louis Post-Dispatch
That’s not Kenneth the Page — that’s Hercule Poirot! Charter subscribers across St. Louis who tuned in to KSDK (Channel 5) to see “30 Rock” Thursday night instead got “Poirot” on KETC (Channel 9). Because “The Office” was a rerun and I wasn’t recording it, I don’t know when the switch occurred, but it lasted about 10 minutes into what was supposed to be “30 Rock.” Then the signal went black before returning as NBC. People from various parts of the metro area confirm that they had the same problem, so it was apparently Charter-wide. Perhaps our cable system is trying to improve our minds. But “30 Rock” is smart enough for me, and I plan to watch it on HULU.com, as you can do, too.

I’ve got Uverse so I didn’t have this problem, but I swear this week’s episode was new. Jack was trying to move his realtionship with Elisa forward. It was a really good one that I would definately catch on hulu.
The service interruption began about 7:45pm during Kath & Kim, through all of The Office, and about the first 10 minutes of 30 Rock. When I called Charter, they had no explanation and then attempted to sell me more services! Charter’s service is truly the worst…
I am wondering if this is a preview of things to come, with the bankruptcy filing.
What in the world is HULU?
HULU is an evil plot to take over the world by turning people’s brains to mush.
You people ever pick up a book or spend time with your family. Lazy lazy fat people cant watch tv……waaaahhhhh.
Hulu.com is a place to watch TV on the web….
Ahhh…watching TV on the web can’t compare to watching it on my big flatscreen with hi-def…I wouldn’t think…
I have Charter and received all of 30 Rock. I live in Zip code 63121
We had the outage in 63105. My DVR recorded the entire mixup.
Knowing Charter they’ll find some way to blame us users for the error.
