It’s that time — the broadcast networks are preparing to announce their fall schedules, and many shows are on the endangered list. What can you do, other than voting in this poll on which one you’d most like to save? Well, you can always join an online campaign (search “save” and the name of the show). Or you can try the old-fashioned approach and write to the network bosses. Stick around after the poll to find the necessary addresses.

Which network show would you most like to save from cancellation?

Save Chuck! This a rough year, it seems, as so many shows that I truly enjoy seem to be on the chopping block. I’m going to be really sad to see “Life” go - Damien Lewis is fantastic and that show seems to get no support from NBC.

“Dollhouse,” “Southland,” “The Unusuals” — all worth saving, IMHO — along with “Better off Ted,” “Castle” …

Since ‘The Unit’ is the only one of the bunch I watch…I voted for it.

Save Reaper! It sounds like a weird show if you’ve never seen it but its smart and funny. Ray Wise is perfect as the devil. You should hate him but you can’t because he is so charming. The rest of the cast is outstanding as well. CW would be stupid to cancel it since the only other good show they have that doesn’t cater to teenage girls is Supernatural (also an awesome show).

On a sidenote this is probably the strongest list of on the bubble shows I’ve seen. Most of them probably do deserve to make it in terms of quality (if not viewers).

Chuck deserves to be saved since it has the biggest active fan base and
does well with one its biggest NBC sponsors, Subway. NBC should put it into
a better time slot. It does well with 18-35 / 18-49 age groups. It is also
a good show which offer decent, escapist entertainmnet in these hard economic times.

*sigh*

I watch every one of these shows. I hate to lose any of them.

The Scrubs series has already been shot, and the show wouldn’t be the same unless the entire cast returns. Let it go before it jumps the shark.

I read this morning that Southland has been renewed, so yay! for them. If I had to pick one for cancellation, it would be Privileged.

Besides the first southland, which wasn’t great. I have not seen any of these shows.

“The Unit” and “Life” have some of the most interesting and thought provoking episodes on television, with the best cast ensemble. With that kind of a mix, how can you not renew them. As for “Reaper”, well it’s great to be able to watch a show for an hour and laugh all the way through. Save these shows and stop drowning us with Reality Tv - yuk!!!
