No ‘Merlin’ repeat on KSDK, but here are options
As “Merlin’ heads for next Sunday’s finale, two back-to-back episodes this week were interrupted by the resumption of the Cardinals game after a rain delay. Significant chunks of both episodes were missed, but KSDK was unable to arrange a repeat. This from the station:
“Because of the rain delays and the late ending of last night’s Cardinals/Padres game portions of the NBC program ‘Merlin’ were interrupted. In order to better serve our viewers we have gone to NBC with a request to rebroadcast the show. Unfortunately when contacting the producers of the program, NBC was not able to secure the necessary rights and permission for us to rebroadcast ‘Merlin.’ We are sorry for the inconvenience to fans of the show.”
However, if you have Charter cable, “Merlin” is one of the network programs available On Demand. Find it under “Primetime Free.” You can also watch both episodes (Nos. 10 and 11) streamed free on HULU or on NBC.com.

Who watches programming live on KSDK anymore? Like you pointed out, their programming is available on Hulu and NBC websites. With the proliferation of flat panel HDTV’s with computer inputs, many people have figured out how to watch Internet programming on their televisions. As KSDK continues to alienate their viewership with these interruptions to programming, more and more people will tune away permanently.
Don’t worry, as the Cards payroll goes north of $100 mil next season, there won’t be any more free tv games.
I THINK ITS A SHAME DUE TO THE FACT THAT WE THE FANS OF MERLIN WERE NOT IMPORTANT ENOUGH FOR KSDK TO PAY NBC TO REBROADCAST THE SHOW MY NEW SHOW FOR MY EVENING NEWS IS CHANNEL 4!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THATS THE WAY TO WAKE UP CHANNEL 5 EVERYONE AND I AGREE WITH JTG61 ALSO
KSDecay has preempted all manner of live sporting events ever since taking on Cardinals telecasts. And the joke is that they’re all but unwatchable since Shannon forced them to use Jay Randolph.
