TV on DVD: From ‘Brotherhood’ to ‘Ugly Betty’

In three seasons on Showtime, “Brotherhood” — the story of two Irish-American brothers (Jason Isaacs and Jason Clarke) on opposite sides of the law in Providence, R.I. — attracted a core group of fans, but not enough to keep it going past 29 episodes. The final batch of eight arrives on DVD today (Tuesday, Sept. 22), including the much-admired series finale.

Sure glad I didn’t waste my time sitting through commercials watching these TV series when they originally aired. Just wait for the entire season on DVD and check it out from your local library or get a Netflix account.
