From sci-fi to “SpongeBob,” this week has a little something for everything. Here are a few highlights.

‘V,’ 7 p.m. Tuesday on ABC
Even if you’re not a huge science-fiction fan, check out this new ABC series, a fresh and timely spin on the 1983 miniseries about alien invaders — here, offering peace, comfort and universal health care. Elizabeth Mitchell (”Lost”) and Scott Wolf (”Party of Five”) head the ensemble cast. Here’s my full review from the Sunday Post-Dispatch.

‘Bill Cosby: The Mark Twain Prize,’ 7 p.m. Wednesday on PBS
Friends and colleagues including Chris Rock, Jerry Seinfeld and “Cosby Show” co-stars Phylicia Rashad and Malcolm-Jamal Warner salute Cosby in ceremonies taped last week in Washington.

‘The Real Housewives of Orange County,’ 9 p.m. Thursday on Bravo
The “Housewives” franchise, which is threatening to drive everything else off Bravo, is wildly popular. Just not with me.

‘SpongeBob SquarePants: Truth or Square,’ 7 p.m. Friday on Nickelodeon
The 10th anniversary celebration of our favorite sponge concludes with a prime-time special. Ricky Gervais narrates, and celebs including Triumph the Insult Comic Dog make appearances.

‘Too Late To Say Goodbye,’ 7 p.m. Saturday on Lifetime Movie Network
Robe Lowe plays a cheating husband, with Lauren Holly as his wife, in a murder mystery adapted from the Ann Rule novel.

‘The Wanda Sykes Show,’ 10 p.m. Saturday on Fox
The stand-up comic and co-star of CBS’ “New Adventures of Old Christine” gets her own talk show.

‘Mad Men,’ season finale, 9 p.m. Sunday on AMC
As I write this, I’m still reeling from the painful, next-to-last episode of Season 3, but nevertheless eager to see what else Matthew Weiner has up his sleeve before leaving hangng for nine months.
