7 shows that should be on your radar this week (Nov.23-29)
Get ready for a holiday TV lull, when many scripted shows go into reruns because the networks suspect you won’t be watching much anyway. First, though, we have three more days of November sweeps, followed by a Thanksgiving so full of television that I’ve created its own calendar. Here, then, are the week’s other highlights. More than seven, you say? Yes, actually, there are 10. You’re welcome.
‘Dancing With the Stars,’ season finale
7 p.m. Monday and 8 p.m. Tuesday on ABC
I haven’t paid much attention to this season, but now I’m rooting for Kelly Osbourne because she just tried so darn hard and wants it so badly.
‘Surviving the Holidays With Lewis Black’
7 p.m. Monday on the History Channel
Black rants and rails about holiday traditions, from turkey on Thanksgiving to drinking on New Year’s Eve, asking a long list of other comedians to join in.

Marking the 46th anniversary of John F. Kennedy’s assassination, a documentary assembles restored news footage and previously unseen home movies.
‘Jon & Kate Plus 8,’ series finale
8 p.m. Monday on TLC
Both Gosselin parents will appear as the series about adorable sextuplets — now tainted by an ugly marital breakup — ends its run. TLC still plans to launch a series featuring Kate solo next spring.

Two Build-a-Bear Workshop animals come to life in a holiday special.
‘Monk,’ series finale
8 p.m. Friday on USA
Mr. Monk (Tony Shalhoub) says goodbye, after eight years, in a two-part series finale beginning tonight and promising to reveal who killed Monk’s wife.
‘The National Tree’

Andrew McCarthy and Evan Williams star as a father and son driving their prize spruce cross-country to Washington, D.C., in a new movie with Kari Matchett as a publicist who threatens to suck the sentimentality out of the event.
‘Rock ‘n’ Roll Hall of Fame Concert’
7 p.m. Sunday on HBO
HBO turns over four hours to the 25th anniversary concert, taped Oct. 29-30 at Madison Square Garden and featuring performers including Bruce Springsteen, U2, Metallica, Eric Clapton, Aretha Franklin, Stevie Wonder, Crosby, Stills, Nash (and Friends) and Simon and Garfunkel.
‘The Dog Who Saved Christmas’
7 p.m. Sunday on ABC Family
Mario Lopez is the voice of the dog in a “Home Alone”-ish Christmas fantasy in which a bad guard dog battles burglars.
‘A Dog Named Christmas’
8 p.m. Sunday on CBS
Noel Fisher is a developmentally delayed 20-year-old who vows to get everyone to adopt a dog for Christmas in a new “Hallmark Hall of Fame” drama with Bruce Greenwood and Linda Emond as his parents.

Although I’ve never watched “DWTS” (not my cup of joe), I, too, hope Kelly wins. It might keep her from ever singing again.
As a 40-ish female fan of the Donny and Marie era, I am definitely rooting for my Donny!
I am looking forward to Monk - hate to see the series end - but it’s been great ride! Good riddence to J&K and wish TLC will come to their senses and drop the solo act - don’t need more of that train wreck!
