‘Mad Men’ season finale was a game changer
St. Louis Post-Dispatch
Sunday night’s Season 3 finale of “Mad Men” — which I watched before even unpacking my suitcase from a long weekend out of town — was as good an hour of television as I can remember. Creator Matthew Weiner turned the whole world of “Mad Men” upside down, setting characters on new paths in ways that were bitter, exhilarating, or both. Here, in an interview on The Daily Beast, Weiner talks about why he made the decisions he did and what might be ahead for Don Draper and co. And here, if you don’t need to avoid spoilers, is a recap of the season finale from the always excellent Alan Sepinwall. What more could you want? How about a set of Joan paper dolls — complete with accordion and vase — from the brilliant Dyna Moe, via Flickr?

Wow. After reading the “recap of the season finale” you suggested, I remembered why I never bother to watch this show.
Wow Dave that recap must’ve been confusing for you since you never watch the show and wouldn’t follow any of what it was about.
….the best show on TV! Can’t wait until the next season!
The finale was TV at its best.
Summer 2010 cannot get here fast enough.
My favorite season to date…episode 11, where Don is confronted with his past by Betty, was its most powerful and dramatic episode to date. Season finale - wow, game changer indeed. What a brilliant way to refresh, renew, & re-invent the show and its storylines - love it! I, too, cannot wait until season 4…
This show continues to be the best thing going. Keep it coming.

Soooo can we assume that “Two and a Half Men” and NCIS tax your brain enough without taking on a show that actually requires you to THINK and pay attention?
Per Dave S.: there’s one in every crowd. Ignore the troll. Otherwise, why comment on something you have no interest in? These kinds of comments by these kinds of people WANT your knee jerk reaction. Better to ignore–I learned in college that ignoring ignorance is the best medicine, even better than negativity.
Anyhoo, I can’t wait for Season 4 either to see how the agency of Sterling Cooper Pryce Draper develops. One observation, though? Where was Sal? Will they bring him back as the Art Director???
Great show, absolutely great, and Jon Hamm being from St. Louis makes it all the better!
