Where’s the list of small market Region 5 winners, and large/small market Region 7 (which includes Illinois)? No surprise St. Louis beat out KC in a lot of categories. When you have a massacre at a city hall and the aftermath of capturing a notorious pedohile, it’s news that’s easy to trump other cities. I should know after winning a Murrow in KC beating KMOX because we had better attention-getting news. It’s rarely about quality when choosing a Murrow award.
