Hargitay and Meloni: staying!

Michael Ausiello of EW.com reports exclusively that Christopher Meloni and Mariska Hargitay have new, two-year contracts to stay with “Law & Order: Special Victims Unit.” NBC had said the show would go on with or without them, but with them is way better. Here are more details from “The Ausiello Files.”

The show might have gone on without them, but that’s not the same as saying that the viewers would have gone on watching. I didn’t read the linked article, but I wonder how much the network had to shell out to keep them?

I watch because of them. Wouldn’t watch otherwise. Takes too long for chemisty to override your previous bious.

Hey bomaoz: I watch because of “them” also. Mariska’s “them” that is! In the words of her (in)famous mother - “Is that a pistol in your pocket or are you just glad to see me?”
