Emmy nominations announced; here’s the long list
Two nominations for St. Louis native Jon Hamm (for “Mad Men” and guest actor for “30 Rock”) headline today’s Emmy announcement. ”Big Bang Theory” faithful will be thrilled by the nod to their favorite Jim Parsons, and fans of HBO’s “Flight of the Conchords” can celebrate nominations both for the show and for star Jemaine Clement.

*sigh* “Chuck” gets passed by again…
How does True Blood and Rescue Me get so overlooked? Hollywood is too liberal-stupid.
“30 Rock” is such a boring, awful show.
I too am surprised that “True Blood” was overlooked.
I hope KSDK is satisfied “30 Rock” got all those nominations, as much as they pre-empt it in favor of infomercials.
Carrie, seriously? ” ‘30 Rock’ is such a boring, awful show.” ?!?!?!
We must be watching different programs because that show is hilarious.
It’s good to see Flight of the Concords getting some props. Who is pleasuring the emmy board, 30 Rock, Really? That show is not funny and nobody watches it.
Where is Two and a Half Men. Its the best show on TV. How can Charlie Sheen and Jon Cryer both be nominated for an Emmy and the show not be nominated? What a joke!
I’m trying to figure out how the show “How I met you mother” got nominated and “two and half men” didn’t. “How I met your mother” is a stupid show.
I agree with the “True Blood” comments. Ryan Kwanten is great playing the stud-about-town but dumb-as-a-rock brother.
Seriously, people think “30 Rock” is “boring”?
And congrats to Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul. “Breaking Bad” is a don’t miss show.
Who is pleasuring the emmy board, 30 Rock, Really? That show is not funny and nobody watches it.
Really? I understand that comedy is highly subjective, but I think that the writing on 30 Rock is brilliant-it’s “smart” comedy…just curious…what comedies on network TV do you think are funny?
I must warn you, though, if you say “Two and a Half Men,” I WILL vomit on my keyboard-a special needs 8th grader could write the jokes for that POS.
