It seems like all the best shows are on cable networks. The major networks seem to have relegated themselves to reality programming.
“Mad Men” is the best show I’ve ever had the good fortune to chance upon…Three years ago, I was in a hotel room on a rainy night and hit the clicker by chance to AMC…Was immediately drawn into this show—-had to wait until the end to find out what the name of the show was….My wife and I have not missed an episode since!!!….The depth of the characters, the attention to detail of the era, the STORYLINE, are incredible!!! We couldn’t wait till this season started last Sunday… And, oh by the way, we’re NOT really tv watchers…We prefer books and dvds…But “Mad Men” is the lone TV night event we don’t miss…”Artfull and engaging” is a very soft way to discribe the “Mad Men” viewing experience…
From the very first episode, I knew that would be a great show. I have been on board for two seasons, and look forward to the third. I have even gotten a 29 year old co-worker interested, and she knows nothing about the 60’s!!!
