‘The Beautiful Life’ is dead to the CW
St. Louis Post-Dispatch
The fall TV season’s first casualty is “The Beautiful Life: TBL,” the CW network’s mostly unseen drama about the “glamorous” world of modeling. After two airings with low and really low ratings (barely over 1 milion this week), the CW has halted production and yanked the show, produced by Ashton Kutcher, off the schedule. Six episodes had been completed, but with no plans to air any more, the CW said Friday night that “Melrose Place” repeats would fill the 9 p.m. (St. Louis time) Wednesday time slot. The hope is that the repeat will give “Melrose Place,” which is also limping along, a chance to find more viewers.

The writing was probably on the wall on this one…just not interesting enough, despite its subject matter. I saw both episodes and after the second had already decided to pull it off my schedule lol…
“produced by Ashton Kutcher” Nuff said.
The premise (and audience size) of the show made it more of a candidate for a webseries.
The only bad thing about this is that now I will have to quit stating titles/proper names followed by their acronyms/initials.
