Syfy remaking BBC’s ‘Being Human’

“Three 20-something roommates — a ghost, a vampire and a werewolf — struggle to keep their secrets from the world while helping each other navigate the complexities of living double lives” in “Being Human,” a BBC series that will be “reimagined” by Syfy for a summer debut. The original “Being Human,” which aired here on BBC America, was more interesting for its concept than successful in its execution, so an American remake might actually be a good thing for once. Syfy has ordered 13 episodes.
I watched this on BBC America and really enjoyed it. I hope they lighten it up a little, but I think it could be really cool Americanized.
I hope BBC American continues to air the original series - I really enjoyed it.
