CW turns a week over to ‘Vampire Diaries’
The CW (Channel 11) has scheduled a catch-up marathon of its freshman hit “The Vampire Diaries” for Dec. 14-18, with two episodes airing each night Monday-Friday. I was unimpressed by the “VD” pilot, and so was the teenage “Twilight” fan I screened it for, but the series went on to become “the CW’s most-watched and highest-rated series among adults 18-34 this season,” the network said Monday.
Here’s what you need to know if you’re thinking about biting:
“Based on the best-selling series of books by L. J. Smith, ‘The Vampire Diaries’ is the story of two vampire brothers obsessed with the same beautiful girl and battling to control the fate of an entire town. Beautiful high school student Elena Gilbert (Nina Dobrev) has no way of knowing the handsome and mysterious new boy in school, Stefan Salvatore (Paul Wesley) is a centuries-old vampire. While Stefan struggles to live peacefully among humans, his older brother Damon (Ian Somerhalder) is the embodiment of vampire violence and brutality. Now these two vampire brothers ─ one good, one evil ─ are at war for Elena’s soul and for the souls of her friends, family and all the residents of the small town of Mystic Falls.”

I’d be more unimpressed with Twilight than any of the Vampire Diaries shows. The books are more well written and considering it was written years before any idea of Twilight, i’d go with the CW.
Sorry, i just find Twilight not good at all.
ITA. Vampire Diaries is more interesting than Twilight.
WOW, this shows how desperate the CW is. Their entire prime time lineup is tanking except for this one show. Why not just change their name to the VD network? Most of their shows involve the exchange of bodily fluids anyway.
I love twilight and the vampire diaries …why the he’ll has that show not been airing????? I swear to god if that show got canceled I will be sooooo pissed!!!!!! I <3 vampire diaries for life
