Gordon Ramsay hosts new cooking competition on Fox
“MasterChef” is the working title for a series picked up by Fox that will ”take wannabe chefs who merely cook as a hobby and have absolutely no experience in the food industry and attempt to turn them into master chefs.” The format is already a hit in Britain in Australia, and Gordon Ramsay (”Hell’s Kitchen”) will host the U.S. version. (His company, the adorably named One Potato Two Potato, will also co-produce.) Fox says:
“Contestants will be put through the paces with various challenges as they compete head-to-head to create delicious dishes. The series will serve as a unique platform for people from all walks of life who want to follow their dream of working as a professional chef. These everyday at-home cooks will have the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to show their passion and excitement for food as they are put to the test and judged by world-renowned chefs.”
Ramsay will “challenge and coach the amateurs all the way to the finish line,” Fox adds, but don’t think he’s going all nicey-nice. “Known for his explosive outbursts, he won’t be afraid to tell the chefs the cold, hard truth about their cooking along the way.”

How much of his 15 minutes has Gordon Ramsay used?
Gordon, remember the lesson Emeril learned about overexposure.
I’ll take Gordon Ramsey any day over that train wreck and wannabe chef Rachel Ray.
How much time in the day does Gordon Ramsay have?
