He departs after 15 seasons and will replace Jay Leno as host of “The Tonight Show” as of June 1. Leno’s last show is Friday, May 29. (Did you hear? He’ll be in prime time every night come fall.) Jimmy Fallon takes over “Late NIght” on March 2. For an early taste of Fallon, sample his nightly video blogs on NBC’s website.

I’ve never been a Conan fan. I’ve tried watching but for whatever reason, I just don’t understand why some people think he’s hilarious.

Give me “The Colbert Report” at 10:30 anytime over Jay, Conan or even Dave.
