CBS picks up ‘Medium,’ drops ‘The Unit,’ ‘Without a Trace’
Canceled Tuesday by NBC, “Medium” immediately found a place on CBS’ fall schedule, where it will air Friday nights between ”Ghost Whisperer” and “Numb3rs.” CBS Studios produces “Medium.”
But as expected, CBS canceled long-running “Without a Trace” and “The Unit.” The new schedule announced Wednesday includes the “NCIS” spinoff, now officially “NCIS Los Angeles.” They’ll air back to back. CBS also picked up “Three Rivers,” a medical drama starring Alex O’Loughlin of “Moonlight” fame.
The only other new CBS shows for fall are the comedy “Accidentally on Purpose,” starring Jenna Elfman, and the legal drama “The Good Wife,” with Julianna Margules.
