‘Big Brother’ finale: good over evil
After one of the most obnoxious (and strangely popular) seasons in “Big Brother” history, Tuesday night’s finale was surprisingly satisfying. With sweet little Jordan outnumbered two to one by evil Natalie and her henchman, Kevin, you could almost see her tied to the railroad tracks in a “Perils of Pauline” movie, with Natalie and Kevin standing by, twirling their mustaches, as the train approached.
Then something strange happened. Jordan, who had won virtually nothing (except the HOH Jeff gave her), rallied to win two legs of the last competition. She wisely took Natalie — and I’m no psychiatrist, but couldn’t a lot of Natalie’s behavior classify her as a sociopath? — to the Final 2 rather than Kevin, whom the jury might have found more sympathetic. (If Kevin hadn’t gone over to the dark side so early, he might have been one of my favorites.)
In the end, Jordan won big, getting five votes (including one from viewers) to two for Natalie. She got $500,000, Natalie got $50,000 and cute Jeff got $25,000 as America’s favorite. Jeff blew it big time for believing Natalie and Kevin’s lies and back-dooring Russell. Otherwise, he might be $475,000 richer today. But Jordan needs the money, and she’ll use it for good, so all’s well that ends well.
Jordan DID win several HOH competitions on her own, and a VETO competition- weren’t you watching? I think the right person won. It was a good season.
this show is an unqualified train-wreck and embodies ALL that is WRONG with these narcissistic, mean-spirited “reality” shows that are anything but…sad reflection of our self-obsessed and shallow culture.
Sometimes the good guys win. Natalie was in my opinion the least liked house guest in the history of BB. She lied about things that were not necessary to lie about. I have never seen a cooler response to a marrige perposal in my life……what a cold fish. Natalie alway thought that she had this game in her pocket. And she treated people in the house like she was better then them…so whacha say now little me me me girl. So you won 50 grand I bet you will look at every dollar and wonder what Jordan is doing with her 500 grand….LMBO !!!!
Jessie ruined the show for me with his posing,flexing and going shirtless! He is a legend in his own mind and I am so glad he got booted out of the BB house!
I was so glad Jordan won, she is easily the hottest chick ever on Big Brother and she seemed really sweet. I would love to see something else with her and how she uses the money she won.
Natalie was really strange. During her diary room interviews she would always been looking around like she couldn’t focus. She did it during her speech on the finale as well.
Kevin got what was coming to him; nothing.
