Obama’s ‘off-the-record’ remarks on Kanye West
When President Obama was chatting off the record with a CNBC reporter before an interview, the president had a few choice words — actually, one choice word — for Kanye West.

When President Obama threw out the ceremonial first pitch at the All-Star Game in St. Louis on Tuesday, most people’s eyes were on the ball. But a few people had their eyes on his jeans.
A friend of mine actually remarked on Wednesday, “The game was really cool, but what was with the president and those Mom Jeans?”

Before departing Washington, D.C., President Bush left behind a confidential letter for President Obama. It’s a time-honored tradition. (We did the same thing when we left our previous job, but it was decidedly less confidential.)
Obama reads the letter to the American people in a new video from FunnyOrDie.
No commentary. Just watch and enjoy.

Will Ferrell is reprising his role of George W. in this FunnyorDie video.
But you’ll have to surf over to FunnyorDie.com to watch it because we can’t embed it here. Sorry.
Obama Girl. Oprah’s endorsement. “Saturday Night Live.” Katie Couric’s “gotcha” comeback.
They’re all moments that helped define the 2008 presidential election.
Here, now, a wrapup, courtesy of our friends at The Associated Press.
(Kudos to my colleague Erica for getting all those videos embedded.)
