U R N big trble, bus drivr

St. Louis Post-Dispatch

UPDATE: This San Antonio city bus driver was caught on film texting for six minutes before plowing into the back of an SUV on a busy freeway. The voiceover does little to explain much more about the situation, besides pointing out the obvious, but some digging on the Interwebs reveals the crash occurred in June 2008, and the driver was fired. Duh.

Brilliant commercial by Sprint references Twitter

St. Louis Post-Dispatch

From Twitter’s blog:

The folks at Sprint have a new nationwide television ad running and they’ve included Twitter along with other services people use and depend on such as mobile phones, email, texting, and Google which is really cool for us. Even more fun is that they took the little blue bird that my long time collaborator on fun design and illustration projects Phil and I drew and made it into a 3D animation. Love it!

Musicians teach rude cell-phone talker a lesson

St. Louis Post-Dispatch

People on cell phones are so annoying. I happen to have a cell phone myself, but I am very courteous.

I don’t talk on the phone while I’m in line at the store. Or while I’m ordering at Starbucks. Or during a musical at the Fox Theatre (Seriously — I sssssssh‘d a woman, and she shouted an obscenity at me). Or during a live concert.

I’d say this guy got what was coming to him.
