The first home night game of the ‘09 season featured some vivid flashbacks of two of the biggest moments in Cubs history, both coming in the top of the fourth inning.

It began when a white cat ran onto the field with one out, conjuring up visions of the infamous night at Shea Stadium in 1969 when a black cat walked in front of Ron Santo in the on-deck circle.

Moments later, Reds outfielder Jay Bruce lofted a pop foul to left field that a fan caught in the front row near the so-called “Bartman” seats.
