My colleague Ted Rodgers shares:
Disney reportedly will start showing the Michael Jackson 3-D movie “Captain EO” at its theme parks in January. Jackson spent $30 million to make the movie and persuaded Francis Ford Coppola to direct, George Lucas to produce and Anjelica Huston to co-star in it. Disney played the movie at the parks in the 1980s and ’90s, then pulled it.

“The Curious Case of Benjamin Button” opens in theaters on Christmas Day, but I attended a screening of it last night.
At a little over 2 1/2 hours, it’s longer than most movies. There were a few parts that dragged and didn’t really seem to advance the story. But overall, it was thoroughly enjoyable.
“I was born under unusual circumstances.” And so begins “The Curious Case of Benjamin Button,” adapted from the 1920s story by F. Scott Fitzgerald about a man who is born in his 80s and ages backwards. A man, like any of us, unable to stop time. We follow�
