Remember Billy Joel’s “We Didn’t Start the Fire” from decades ago? Here’s a terrible educational parody about garbage, filmed at a high school in Reseda, Calif.

You’ll notice there are no shots of the students in the audience. That’s because there was no usable footage — too much eye rolling. And the applause was added in post-production.

I’m not quite sure how this YouTube phenomenon managed to slip past my radar.
