‘Don’t Stop Believing,’ scaryoke style
I’m sure “Glee” is responsible, but “Don’t Stop Believing” by Journey seems to have made quite a comeback lately.

Things like this make me proud to have grown up on “Sesame Street”: a “Mad Men” parody.
From E! News (via CeleBitchy.com):
With all the smoking, drinking, sex and lies on Mad Men, you’d think it wouldn’t exactly be kid-friendly. To a tiny extent, you’d think wrong.
The Emmy-winning AMC show is getting the Sesame Street treatment on fictional network EMC (E is for emotional). That’s right, Jon Hamm’s Don Draper dons a felt suit.
The mysterious ad hero is hard at work coming up with a campaign for the Happy Honeybear account. He’s working with two “sycophants,” but we’re not quite sure which one
The whole “Single Ladies” parody thing has been done to death, but, somehow, each one manages to be hilarious.
And this one, starring a baby, is no exception. Roll the clip.
Speaking of “Single Ladies,” did you catch “Glee” last night? Love.
We here at Viral Videos love a good commercial parody. Which is why we think you may have some interest in this contest by Cosmedicine (which, by the way, we are not endorsing and have absolutely nothing to do with), brought to our attention by P-D fashion editor Debra Bass.
Cosmedicine believes in beauty AND brains. That’s why when Cosmedicine talks about its products, it talks only about results that are scientifically and statistically measured in clinical trials … not what some women thought they saw in a mirror. So, please join us and “Protest the Beauty B.S.”
Nerd alert.
I’ll concede that Bing has clever commercials. But I’m not entirely sure what it does or why it’s better than (or different from) Google.
College Humor boils it down.
To paraphrase my colleague Judy Newmark: They can make a musical about anything. And they usually do.
I love this parody of “West Side Story,” which tells the tale of courtship in the age of the Interwebs. From the brains at College Humor, here’s “Web Site Story.”
(Take this opportunity to turn off your cell phones and to unwrap your candies. And the taking of photographs is strictly prohibited by Actors’ Equity.)
Thanks to my colleague Erica Smith for sharing this.
Who needs the dumb old ShamWOW! when you’ve got paper towels? They’re only available in stores!
(Earmuffs Warning.)
This was recently brought to my attention by the Dowd Agency, which represents Triumph Pharmaceuticals’ SmartMouth:
A St. Louis–based company recently received its “12” minutes of fame from a viral video spoof of “24” meets “The Office.”
In loving tribute to last week’s season finale of Fox’s “24,” a group of “24”-obsessed NYU film students partnered with St. Louis mouthwash company, SmartMouth, to produce a hilarious, two-minute parody of the hit TV show.
Building on SmartMouth’s motto and category-best claim — 12 Hours of Fresh Breath (that hilariously figures into the plot) — the video, over the past week, has received tremendous buzz online
There’s just something about cats doing human things (like singing backup in music videos) that makes me laugh. Perhaps excessively.
