An experiment in microblogging the ‘08 election
I’m trying an experiment and I hope you can help with it. It’s inspired by an experiment Jeff Jarvis wrote about in his BuzzMachine blog. He calls his “TwitCrit” — micro reviews of what you’re reading, watching, listening to, posted on Twitter by prefacing your posts with “@twitcrit.”
Same idea here. I’m interested in getting St. Louisans on Twitter to post their microcommentaries about the ‘08 election campaign (Super Tuesday’s almost here!) to our PDVoxPop page on Twitter. All you need to do is preface your post with “@pdvoxpop” and write your note.
It’ll obviously show up on your own Twitter page immediately, but until I get some better programming in place, it could take a half-hour to show up on the PDVoxPop page.
We’ll also put a feed from the PDVoxPop page on STLtoday’s politics page, once we get enough posts up there. I hope you’ll follow the PDVoxPop page either from the web or by texting “follow pdvoxpop” to 40404.
