Diggnation comes to STL for a “live” show
The hosts of one of the web’s most popular podcasts will be dropping into the Lou for one of their weekly ‘casts. Diggnation, hosted by folks from the social bookmarking site Digg.com, will tape it’s next “Diggnation Live” podcast on Feb. 20.
(UPDATE: Here’s the link to the announcement on the official Diggnation site. Note: The early comments there show people are ticked off that it’s at a bar…and they have to be 21 or over to attend.)
The ‘cast features some of the top news stories and other links posted by readers on Digg. Like a story? Post it. Really like it? Digg it. The more people Digg it, the more the cream rises to the top of the site.
The blog and forum buzz in St. Louis puts hosts Kevin Rose (founder and chief architect of Digg) and Alex Albrecht at Moulin in St. Louis on Feb. 20. Notes one blog site: “When you think of places Diggnation may tape from, St. Louis isn’t a city you’d put very high on a list. Yet, for some unknown reason, that’s exactly where Kevin and Alex will tape the next live Diggnation. Maybe it has something to do with St. Louis having more bars per capita than any other US city…”
