On ‘The GodVader’ and other ‘Star Wars’ spoofs
Eventually, it would have to come out: We here at Virtual St. Louis World Headquarters are huge fans of the ‘Star Wars’ saga. So, naturally, it popped right out when I saw this movie poster spoof on the Patrick Says blog.

And, naturally, since Patrick said “more” Star Wars stuff in the headline to this item, a quick search of his site yielded a saucy “recruitment poster” for the Empire and a few other cute items.
The saucy Empire poster led me here, where there’s a whole mess of similar posters in the same vein. And yes, I’m completely off the reservation now, since this now has absolutely nothing with St. Louis….But I thought the very, very long thread of comments on this blog item was worth a comment. Never really seen so much serious discussion over something that seems, frankly, pretty fanciful.
Favorite comment on the thread: “Do you really want to join an empire that can be defeated by teddy bears, doesn’t know how to design a proper waste management, and is too stupid to put a grate over an exposed old-man sized ventilation shaft located in the middle of a throne room?”

Thanks for the mention. I appreciate it. As posts go, that was a fluff piece, but any notice is good notice. Thanks again.
