A St. Louis chemical manufacturer will add 26 jobs and launch a $1.3 million expansion of its central corridor manufacturing plant, state officials said this morning.

The Missouri Department of Economic Development awarded $104,812 in Enhanced Enterprise Zone tax credits to Intercon Chemical Corp. to help fund the expansion. The company, which plans to grow its facility just south of Chouteau Ave. in the city's central rail corridor, makes industrial and institutional cleaning products.
