Build-A-Bear Workshop announced today its latest partnership -- this time with Michaels, the arts and crafts stores.
The Build-A-Bear Craftshop line will be available at more than 1,020 Michaels stores starting on September 12. The line includes 24 make-your-own projects that range in price from $1.99 to $14.99 and that include a jewelry kit, paint-your-own figurines, and make and share crochet scarves and totes. There will also be kits that include stuffed animals that are ready to assemble with sewing thread, stuffing, safety needles and outfits.
This is the latest collaboration between Build-A-Bear and outside retailers. The company already starting selling Zhu Zhu Pets, made by St. Louis-based Cepia, inside its stores earlier this year.
And a couple days ago, Build-A-Bear announced a partnership with Baskin-Robbins. Patrons who buy a new Ice Cream Bear at a Build-A-Bear Workshop or from its website will get a coupon for an offer to buy one cone and get one free at Baskin-Robbins through Sept. 30.
