Centene Corp. expects to report growth in sales and net income in 2012, company officials told the Securities and Exchange Commission in a filing today.
The Clayton-based manager of health care services, expects revenue of $7.2 billion to $7.6 billion in 2012, and earnings of $2.60 to $2.80 per share. Securities analysts polled by Bloomberg had forecast revenue of $7.09 billion and earnings of $2.61 per share.
Centene shares closed Friday at $38.31, up $2.68 or 7.5 percent.
