Vertegy gets another LEED certified project in Omaha, Neb. • Overland-based Vertegy added another LEED-certified educational facility to its portfolio. The sustainability consulting firm was notified by the U.S. Green Building Council that a four-story addition constructed for Omaha North High School in Omaha, Neb., recently earned LEED Silver certification.
Omaha Public Schools hired Vrana Construction as the general contractor on the project. The Omaha North High School addition was the first LEED project Vrana had ever worked on, so the company used Vertegy to act as LEED consultant and assist with the LEED documentation for the construction-related credits.

Holland Construction Services Inc. completed the Faith Formation Spirituality Center and Activity Center at St. Nicholas Catholic Church in O'Fallon, Ill. The 11,628-square-foot activity center features a youth room, pre-school classrooms and a multipurpose room.
