Improved sales and operating efficiencies helped Young Innovations Inc. post strong earnings in the fourth quarter.
The Earth City-based developer of equipment used by dentists, hygienists and consumers reported a net income of $4.3 million, or 54 cents a share, compared to $3.8 million, or 47 cents a share, a year ago. Sales rose 3.2 percent to $26.7 million.
