May 27, 1994 • President Casino opens on first day of legal gambling in Missouri.

December 2000 • The President and Admiral riverboat move upriver to current mooring just north of Martin Luther King Bridge.

June 2002 • President's parent company files for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection. Talks begin about selling it.

December 2006 • After deal to sell to Columbia Sussex falls through, Pinnacle Entertainment buys the President.

December 2007 • Pinnacle opens Lumière Place Casino three blocks from President; President revenue begins swift decline.

June 2008 • Flooding closes the President for more than a month.

November 2008 • President cuts hours, closes poker deck, lays off workers.

August 2009 • Missouri Gaming Commission says Pinnacle must apply for new license to replace the riverboat.

January 2010 • Gaming Commission votes to strip President's license for poor performance.

March 2010 • Pinnacle agrees to surrender license to Gaming Commission and close boat by July 1.

June 18, 2010 • Last night of gambling before floods close President Casino.

June 24, 2010 • Pinnacle says it can't reopen President before July 1.
