Community Matters
In May 2001, the St. Louis Post-Dispatch launched Community Matters, a program that continues our tradition of helping to make a difference in the St. Louis community. With Community Matters, our support of various local charitable groups, as well as our own individual programs, is now unified under one name, with one central purpose - making a positive difference. When you see the Community Matters logo, you will see the Post-Dispatch helping an organization or program that's delivering results. Like you, we're members of this community and we care about it's continued success.
COMMUNITY MATTERS AD SPACE PROGRAM
Community Matters ad space is assigned each December for the upcoming year. Participating groups can receive one quarter-page ad that will appear in the St. Louis Post-Dispatch. All ad space for 2008 has been assigned. The deadline for 2009 ad space is Oct. 31, 2008.
Within the Community Matters Tabloid Section, you will find information about local groups working for the betterment of the community. This special section, done twice a year in April and November, focuses on the past successes of various organizations, upcoming events and volunteer opportunities. The last section was published on April 20, 2008. The Fall 2008 section will be published in November 2008. Deadline for submission and exact release date will be updated on July 1,2008.
