Jane Johnson: On June 22 Dan Galvin said, "Actually the Hampton bridge will close September 22, right after the Balloon Glow in Forest Park."
Isn't that after the entire balloon race? I hope that you just misspoke!
Thank you.
Dan Galvin and Linda Wilson: I thought that was the same thing. Either way, whatever they're doing with balloons in Forest Park over the weekend of September 19-21 we will close the Hampton bridge on Monday, September 22.

Rick: I'm not sure who has the responsibility for maintaining Eager Road but will it be repaved when all of the work on I-64 is complete? It has taken a beating from all of the traffic both in the past and during construction.
Dan Galvin and Linda Wilson: Yes, Eager Road will be resurfaced and two lanes each way when we're finsihed.
Dan
CJ: Will Dale be open to provide access to Eager when Hanley is closed in January?
Dan Galvin and Linda Wilson: Yes, you will be able to turn left and right at Hanley off of Dale or go through the stop light to the Metrolink parking garage. The only movement that will be restricted in that area will be left turns from Hanley onto Dale. To do that you would have to follow the detour road (which is not open yet) off of Eager, go past the Metrolink garage and through the Dale/Hanley traffic light onto Dale.

Bob G.: My questions are about paving operations and the Hampton closure. Judging by the cameras, it looks like you have most of the roadbed down between McCutcheon and Brentwood. However, it looks like just today you put a ton down around Spoede and if my eyes serve me correctly looking at the Clayton/Warson camera, it looks like your starting to put down roadbed between Clayton/Warson and Lindbergh (yes/no?). Are you guys vehemently putting down roadbed now so that you can plow through the rest of the paving quickly? I'm also assuming that the next two "sections" to be paved will be Clayton/Warson to Lindbergh and then Lindbergh to Spoede. Which will you do after you get McCutcheon to Brentwood finished and when do you anticipate that will start (weather permitting, although it hasn't been monsooning lately)?
Also, when you close Hampton, are you going to tear it up immediately after you close it and then I suppose start on earth work? When will you actually start rebuilding it (since I know you guys have to relocate the freeway here for the interchange and can't do that until you close it in the winter)?
Dan Galvin and Linda Wilson: We're trying to get as much done as fast as we can. The first pour between McCutcheon and Brentwood is scheduled for tomorrow night (after it was rained out last night). We have two more pours scheduled for that area next week as well. We'll pave between Lindbergh and Spoede next, hopefully by the end of the month. The section between Lindbergh and Clayton-Warson will go last, as soon as the fill work is completed. Then we'll start on medians, barriers, shoulders and ramps. We will be busy with concrete work for some time to come.
As for Hampton we will work on either end of the bridge, especially on the north side, as soon as we close it but probably won't tear down the whole thing until 2009.
Dan
jz: Has a reopening date been set for the Spoede bridge. Also, when will more pictures be posted. Also, when will paving begin west of Clayton-Warson, and will that be when the ramps at Lindbergh are done.
Dan Galvin and Linda Wilson: No, soon, probably in September, yes.
