Paul: How big a factor could Jose Oquendo play in helping Skip become a solid defensive second baseman? Is his coaching invaluable at this point?
Jeff Gordon: If anybody could do that, it would be Oquendo.

roger from lake tahoe: freese at second, wallace at third to start the season? could freese make the move easily and has he played second in pro ball? barring a trade or signing, how do you see this lineup shaping up?
Jeff Gordon: That would be a reach, to say the least. But at least this team does have some prospects.
