Tim: Do you see the Rams trying to sign Kalif Barnes?
Jeff Gordon: Maybe . . . but he grades out as just a guy.
Ramfis Benigno: Aloha from Hawaii Gordo... I am just wondering being from Hawaii if The Rams do draft Curry with the second pick, do you think our ex-warrior Pisa Tinoisamoa will get cut or maybe traded? What are your thoughts Gordo? Mahalo, Ramfis
Jeff Gordon: Pisa may not be long for this group either way.
Tim: What sounds more attractive to you?
A,Take Curry in the first Heyward Bey in the second
B,Crabrtee in the first and Larunitis in the second
I heard Larunitis's srock has really dropped so he could be there and Bey might not be there but we may be able to work a deal to move into the first. I thin I like A better
Jeff Gordon: I touched on this earlier -- can't see the team taking two LBs to start the draft.Too many needs.
therealdealankiel: Gordo,
How much of an impact does a new defensive position typically have on a guy's offensive performance? Would a guy like Skip really be thinking about those two errors to the point that he whiffs on his next AB?
I love what he brings to the table for the lineup...but if we lose some of that because of poor defensive performance, I'm not sure it's worth it. This isn't a Dan Uggla that guarantees 30 HR's.
Jeff Gordon: Good point -- a defensive struggle can carry over. That is why it will be interesting to see how his spring progresses.
asoprano: Hey Jeff - When are the Rams going to bring in a QB that will give Bulger a little competition they keep bringing in these tools and just handing the job to Bulger. This guy has lost all his confidence and I am not sure he will ever get it back? I know they are paying him a ton of $ but C'mon
Jeff Gordon: C'on indeed. Can't argue.
