Tim: Jeff,
Thanks for taking my question. Why doesn't Andy Murray reunite the line of Tkachuk/Kariya/Boyes? This was the only line that clicked at any time this season. I understand that Murray wants to spread out the scoring, but every combination he has come up with doesn't work. I would rather have 1 line that scores instead of 4 that do not. 8 goals in 8 games is pitiful.
Jeff Gordon: He will keep shuffling and shuffling. Tkachuk helped fill the center void for a while and that was a good set up, since Kariya helped with the playmaking. But playing center is a chore for Keith. More recently, Murray like him as the power forward getting in on the forecheck.
mike: what are the chances that dallas trades their two number ones for ours to get mcfadden and we then have numbers 22 28 and 33 all still good picks mike
Jeff Gordon: In other years, trading way down for multiple picks might make sense. But this team would have to pass on several impact defensive linemen to go that route. Later in the round, they could get a WR and an OT. IF this team made a free-agent score to get a pass rusher, this scenario could look more feasible.
Tackleberry: What are the chances that the Rams at least consider Pacman Jones? I realize that with his recent legal problems this seems like a marginal idea at best. However, the Rams secondary is marginal at best and the last thing we need is another rookie to add to the quanity, not quality, of defensive backs on this team. I recognize the need to be fiscally responsible, but 3 wins usually justifies some carefree/careless spending. Unless of course that Haslett has ordered more smoke and more mirrors for 2008 and Linehan is ready to put his house up for sale.
Jeff Gordon: Desperate times call for desperate measures, but I believe Pacman need to go somewhere with a strong head coach and strong president willing to keep a thumb on him.
Tackleberry: Don't

Thanks Bill!
Jeff Gordon: You have the signs painted up already? After getting a whiff of the optimism down in Florida, I believe this team could actually get to the high side of .500 with a break or two. But I still like the Brewers to win the division and the Cubs to take a big run too.
D. Ippensen: Should we be concerned about our middle infield as it sets right now ? Any hope for change ?
Jeff Gordon: Izturis can field. He's a veteran. He'll do that much, anyway. But I'm Brendan Ryan, I'm sniffing opportunity.
