hallplante: Gordo,

Now that the Blues made the playoffs, they end up drafting towards the bottom half.

By contrast, the Penguins and Blackhawks succeeded because they stockpiled top-five draft picks.

In hindsight, do you think making the playoffs was the best thing for the Blues' quest for the Cup?
Jeff Gordon: At some point, a team needs to learn to win. The team took enough high picks. It had to learn to hit.

bobincorona: Gordo,

What day does training camp open this year for the Rams? It can't come fast enough for me.
Jeff Gordon: Come on, baseball season is just warming up!

BobJMc13: Doesn't Mozeliak, or as I like to call him, NO-ZZZZeliak, seem to you to be the most indecisive and/or lazy GM in all of Major League baseball. I do not see him trying to make a move during the season, despite his protestations. In the off-season, he does nothing to go after some real needs, unless you think Trevor Miller has been a real stud for us...and we know about K Green. Can you name 3 GMs who are worse?
Jeff Gordon: Let's . . . the Astros are great . . . so are the Pirates . . . The Nationals are a juggernaut . . . the Royals are tanking again . . . Detroit went belly up with a huge payroll . . . the Indians have labored for years . . . yeah, actually, it's not hard to point fingers.

deebox: Hey Gordo can you are any one tell me how do a whold teame go into a slump. Is there something else going on that we don;t know about. I can see the way albert looks when his team mates fail at the plate, do you think the front office see the same thing. And why do they keep playing duncan.
Jeff Gordon: If Ludwick would resume hitting, maybe Duncan wouldn't get as many at bats.

Bluebirds66: Could someone tell me why the Cards batters have to swing at the first pitch most of the time? All they are doing is let the opposing pitcher stay in the game longer by swinging so early in the count.
Jeff Gordon: Every at bat is different. The Cards have really worked some pitchers, even in this slump. On the other hand, why let the other team know you lay off first pitches? You take a lot of fastballs that way.
