Max: Hey Gordo,
Matt Holliday would be a great addition but I think it will take a lot to get him and maybe even more to resign him. So lets assume for a second the Cardinals are able to trade for Mark DeRosa. I would hope the front office would try to resign him...correct? If so, and they did resign him, where would he play next season? Where would he hit?

Jeff Gordon: I see the Cards signing him and playing mostly at second base. But if Freese/Wallace/TBA can't get it done at third base, he could hold the fort there for a while.

Jeff Gordon: Poor guy has issues. Who knows if he can play baseball at a high level this season.
Max: Hey Gordo,
Brett Wallace seems to be hitting better as of late in Memphis. Realizing he is a LH bat and our need continues to be a RH bat, any chance he gets called up later in the summer to play 3B? Or is the plan to let him succeed in Memphis for a year (or close to it) before heaping the pressure of the major leagues on him too soon.
