ronjon1702: Gordon is there anyway you could stop answering all these questions? I try to catch up and i cant. I dont have that much free time in the day. PS, when will the rams let me know when i can watch practice during training camp.
Jeff Gordon: I would imagine we'll have a schedule soon for what fans can see. Fans from outside the area want to come in. Seriously, some do.

stlgdoug: I heard on the radio in KC that the Mets may try and move Reyes, is it possible the Cardinals could try to deal for him?
Jeff Gordon: The other issue with Reyes is the huge money it would take. Albert needs to be covered first.

West Coast Cards Guy: We have seen in the past where a GM will go to the league to seek help (compensation) when he feels as though a team did not disclose all info about a player prior to a trade. Can the cards use this approach with San Diego given K.G.'s battle with A.D. not being disclosed? Does the fact that the pitchers we gave back both having their arms blow up have an impact?
Jeff Gordon: I've talked to Mo about that and the franchise has given it some thought, but there is plenty of gray area with this malady. It's not a bad shoulder.

Matt: Thanks for taking my question. First, great to see the DeRosa trade. He is an excellent addition. Good work to the FO to get this done, and early. My real question is as follows: It seems the Cards and Blues have similar approaches lately with a focus on homegrown talent (of which I am excited for both) and similar constraints in terms of limited FA activity due to mid-market budget concerns. Yet they have elicited completely different fan reactions. While the Blues seem to be on a good will rennaisance, the Cards seem to get killed in fan nation. This despite the Cards greater success recently with a WS under their belt, consistent competition for the league title year in year out, and local ownership. It would seem the opposite should be true. In your opinion, what is the cause of this difference and what can be done to rectify it?
Jeff Gordon: Cards fans have great expectations. They have earned that right with their support. Blues fans are just grateful their organization finally has a direction, one that is obviously working.

JL: How about luke scott? Do you like him as a OF? What would it take to get him? He has a little power and good against lefties even though he is one.
Jeff Gordon: He has been up and down, like the guys here.
