Harold: What 2B/SS will be likely in a trade for the Cards? I see Ankiel being expendable to the extent of a great return at a middle infield position. Is it crazy to think that the Cards could put togather a package including Ankiel, another promosing outfielder, and maybe a mid-tier pitching prospect to land Ian Kinsler. The Rangers seem to be in a buy now win now mode for 2009. Ankiel could really help them in the outfield with Hamilton and Bradley. Can the Cards get Furcal in Free Agency? What do you think?

Jeff Gordon: Furcal is interesting, but his age/injury factor is scary. Nice bat though. Ankiel would have value IF he could sign a long-term deal. If he is headed to free agency, he has little value.

Kinsler is a nice target, but it would take a ton. OFs are easier to find than impact middle infielders.

Jeff Wade: Went to the Rams game Saturday night as I am no longer able to give my preseason tickets away. I liked a lot of what I saw. What is the deal with the concessions? You come to expect high prices, slow service but everything you get for the last few years is cold or stale(pretzels, hot dogs etc.) I can remember the first year the dome opened the Post-Dispatch ran a big story on the state of the art food service the dome would supply.

Jeff Gordon: That's an issue outside the control of the Rams, but it is an issue. Compare the dome to the new Busch.
