patrick crane: the rams are in for a long year.there weekness are obvious.there head coach has never had to deal with the pressures of the n.f.l.but he gets paid a handsome salary.but hes not ready to talk intelligent about wins and losses. If he cant put things in percpective at press conferences.whats he telling the team.he needs to get a grip.or get someone in there to calm himself down.He the reason things are starting to snowball from last year.He doesnt seem like he is ready to lead this storied franchise.we have a good past.all he has to do is not panick.but he already is.It feels like were out of control.no one has the answer.were in trouble.
Jeff Gordon: Yes to all that.

adam_cruts: Jeff, if you're Torry Holt, why would you be in a Rams uniform next year?
Jeff Gordon: No, not unless there is major change.

Big Jack: Gordo,

Pls. tell me that Linehan will resign today. I know that the needs of the few or the one, outweights the needs of the many, after all, this is the USA, but msybe, just maybe, someone can use a little "commom sense" and end the bleeding. We need positive results, not excuses. This football year is already over. Can someone with real football know how please save what is left of this "franchise" and get things turned around??? Linehan must go now, as in TODAY.
Jeff Gordon: Bernie makes great points, but it's tough to be a quitter.

adam_cruts: Jeff, thanks as always. In your gut feeling, do you think that the Rams brass are concerned at all with letting the fan base deteriorate like this, likely causing the sell price of the Rams to drastically go down? Or is that really a concern?
Jeff Gordon: A new owner -- a good owner -- could revive the fan base pretty quickly.

Dreamski: Gordo, what is the enamoured state about Lopez? The guy can't field. Maybe he's going to long term turn the bat around. Miles may not be All-Star, but he's a gamer and has been a solid contributor. I understand the desire for a power-hitting 2B - seems every position has become a power spot anymore - but why Lopez?
Jeff Gordon: At second base, he could get by defensively with some work. I just like having some pop there. He is a fall back, but a more viable one than the others on hand.
