Dreamski: Hey Gordo, somehow, it seems to me to come down to this...this team is such an assortment of uncoordinated parts, it just doesn't matter. Truly, it's start over time. That doesn't mean everyone goes. There is no direction. Zygmunt doesn't know how to evaluate talent, yet he's guided it. The talent seems not to fit the schemes. Linehan is grasping, as is the staff. Cleaning house is needed, but caution - if what follows is slapped together, it won't matter either. The issue is organizational consistency of thought and direction. Let players be successful elsewhere. That doesn't matter if they don't fit the scheme. Talking about this guy or that guy is wasting time or who cares or who doesn't - it's all about direction. When players don't fit, effort won't matter. Create a team....
Jeff Gordon: Agreed.
Matt: Gordo, who'd be your choice for interim?
Jeff Gordon: I've been saying Saunders, but I'd sure like to see more from the offense.
tjmcdonnell1: The Lambs should have never signed Drew Bennett. What a waste of money. We should have dropped his money on the OL.
Jeff Gordon: And kept Bruce, too.
therealdealankiel: How good would Matt Cain look wearing the Birds on the Bat? What would it take to get him? Let me guess, C. Rasmus and B. Anderson?
Jeff Gordon: Yeah, that would likely be an asking price. I'm not moving Rasmus, if I'm Mozeliak, until I see what he can really do at this level. He could add a lot of power and speed where Skip is today.
bob_n_weave: If I was Linehan i'd be informing my Boss that the best thing to do for me and the Team is to fire me.
Jeff Gordon: It has to cross his mind.
